Virginia Wildlife

We found this really cute little skunk behind our apartment!

The skunk in its natural habitat

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

If you look closely there is a lollipop stuck in her fur!

Obviously, Mila was a skunk for Halloween. She was SO CUTE!! I just wanted to squeeze her and kiss her cheeks! We went trick-or-treating in downtown Lexington again this year. Lexington is the coolest town because most of the buildings are historic, and they all have these cute little shops in them. For trick-or-treat all of the shops have someone standing outside to give out candy. It's really nice with kids because I just put Mila in her stroller and walked down the sidewalk. It's mostly little kids like her too, so it's nice not having a bunch of teenagers around all the little kids. We went with Shanda, my friend who watches Mila, and her nephew, Tee, who is like a week older than Mila. Mila slept pretty much the whole time too. It was really fun!

Filling Mommy's Shoes

Mila is obsessed with my shoes. She goes into our closet all the time and gets my shoes out and then walks around the apartment in them. I worry that she's going to twist her ankle in my heels or something because she really loves the taller ones.

Tooth Decay?

One night before bed Mila ate a banana. Then I gave her the liquid vitamins, which as most mothers probably know, are a nasty brownish color. Well, the banana left a residue on her teeth which then was dyed this nasty brown color by the vitamins. It just killed me because she looked like someone from the 1800's who had never seen a toothbrush. Then she was laughing and smiling and it was making me laugh so hard. I tried to get some pictures, but they didn't turn out great because she wouldn't stop moving. Luckily, we do use a toothbrush every night, and it all came off.

"I'm Just Dandy. I Got a Bowl of Chocoloate Pudding in My Underpants!"

Mila always has to eat whatever Sam is eating, and she loves to eat on his lap. This is what often happens to poor Sam. This time it happened to be some chocolate pudding. Thank goodness for bleach! I use tons of it! By the way, if you're a movie freak like us, you probably know that the title of this post is from the movie Blacksheep.
