White Christmas

We had a beautiful white Christmas in Utah. This icicle was outside the family room window at Lee and Teressa's. It started out shorter and fatter, but by the last day it had reached all the way to the ground. It was taller than me!

Look How They've Grown!

Mila and I visited Amy, my old roommate, and Lucy when Mila was about 2 months old and Lucy was about 3 weeks old, I think. Boy do I look so tired! Believe me, I was.
Here, about 8 months later, the girls are so much bigger! We had such a fun visit. The girls were obviously a little more interactive. They had fun stealing toys from each other and racing for the rubber duck. We wish that we lived closer to them so that Mila and Lucy could play more together.

More Christmas Fun

Mila tuckered out after her big, exciting day of wrapping paper, new toys, and ponies.

My FAVORITE Picture!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE! Like I have said before, it is so hard to get a good smile out of Mila for a picture. I'm sure you can imagine my delight when I saw this on my camera screen. I just love her chubby cheeks, her double chin, and how you can see her little teeth. She is so cute!

Merry Christmas!!

Aunt Ruth gave Mila a purple Adidas track suit. Sam was excited and couldn't wait for her to wear it because he absolutely loves babies in athletic clothes.

She loves paper so she actually tried to help open some of her presents. She didn't care to see what was inside, she just wanted to eat the wrapping.

With all the presents she got, the bows were her favorite part! She would hold a bow in each hand and try to play with her toys without letting go of the bows.

Mommy's Little Helper

I was trying to go through all of Mila's clothes so I could take the ones that she had grown out of back to Ohio. While I was doing this, Mila was "helping" me by taking clothes off of my pile and eating them or rubbing them all over the floor. Thanks Mila, you are always such a big help to me!

Little Buddies

Amber and Ana came over to see us and Ana sat right down next to Mila to watch Baby Feelings together. They just looked so cute with their two chubby baby bodies sitting together. Plus they were sitting still and being quiet. That does not happen often!

Christmas Cookies

Even though I was busy with finals and getting ready to travel, and Nicky was busy with getting packed up to move, and Amber was busy with work and helping watch Mila and Zara; we managed to find the time to make some Christmas cookies. It was a lot of fun to watch the kids "decorate" the cookies. Mila helped by attacking everything she could get her hands on and trying to eat it so we only made a couple together. I made the rest of mine once she was asleep. We are lucky to live so close to such good friends.
