Mila is Thankful for Family

I was so happy because Mila actually warmed up to the family when we visited for Thanksgiving. She enjoyed hanging out with Tori and she loved playing with Caylee. This was the first time that I have actually seen her really try to play with another baby. She goes upstairs and plays with Zara every day when I am at school, but I obviously don't get to see that, so it was nice to see her with other kids. She didn't always play nice though since she kept stealing Caylee's toys.

Caught in the Act

Mila is entertained so much more by regular stuff and my stuff than she is my her own toys. So lately I have been giving her markers to play with while we are in the bedroom. They are a good size for her to grab, and she likes the different colors. She couldn't get them open either so I thought I was safe. Not so. When I was packing our stuff to go to Ohio for Thanksgiving I looked up to see Mila with the uncapped black marker in her mouth. I do not know how she managed, but she did. It gave me a good laugh though! She didn't get it on the bed or her clothes though so that's probably why I could laugh about it. I doubt I will be so lucky next time!

Rooting for the Knights

This is Mila and me watching Sam play at a football game. It was so cold that night, but we bundled up and snuggled. Mila kept staring at the lights and doing this hilarious squinty face that she usually does when the sun gets in her eyes. We tried to get a picture of it, but none of them really turned out. The top picture was the best try.

A Smile!

I love this little outfit. She looked so cute in it that I had to get a picture. She liked it so much that she actually smiled for the picture! I was pretty excited. What a cute little gal!

Sam's Stache

What a handsome man! Even with that goofy mustache. Actually, the football team grew them and then they had a "Stache Bash" at the end of the season. At first he looked like he had a Mexi-stache, but once it grew in I thought he looked like a state trooper. The bottom picture is the start of the stache. He's also wearing my sunglasses to top off the look.

Halloween!

I am so late at putting these up! Mila and I went trick-or-treating in Lexington with our friends Nicky and Zara. We pretty much just went along for the ride because Mila obviously doesn't eat candy yet. She did get a toothbrush though which she continues to love. It is one of the best ways to keep her quiet in church. I don't get it though. She will play with the toothbrush for a really long time, but at night when I try to brush her teeth with the blue rubber toothbrush finger she never wants to cooperate. Go figure!

Miss Mila Au Naturale

It is so funny getting Mila ready for her bath each night because she loves to be naked. She has discovered her tongue and so she sticks it out all the time. Now that she does this all the time I have found myself doing it too like when I am concentrating or writing. Look how cute her little bum is!

Snoozers

Mila Out and About

Mila loves to go on walks! When it was a little warmer we would walk from our apartment up to the school and meet Sam after football practice so we could all ride home together.
