On the 15th, Mila had her first birthday party with friends. This is literally the first year that we have been healthy enough to have people over or to feel better in time to get a party together. The weather was a bit nasty outside, so we were glad that most of her friends could come. She has such a cute little group of friends here. We have been so lucky!
Mila chose to have a Valentine's Tea Party to celebrate.
The girls decorated crowns to wear,
decorated their own tea cups,
played pin the lips on Mrs. Valentine and Valentine Bingo.

Mila still loves drawing and coloring. She sings non-stop and has loved taking piano lessons since she now has another way to make music. Her favorite color is still pink with purple in close second. She is very thoughtful and is constantly making drawings, cards, and little gifts for family and friends. She is a patient big sister and such a help to me around the house, especially now that I am huge. She is a quick learner, and it has been a delight to watch our sweet girl grow this year.
